Bodor Major Lovas és Szabadidőpark is a unique event venue located in the magical Danube Bend, on Szentendre Island, surrounded by a vast flower-filled park and lush green trees.
Situated just 40 minutes from Budapest, the park is easily accessible by car and public transport, whether arriving via Szentendre and Leányfalu or from the direction of Dunakeszi and Vác.
Upon arrival, guests quickly forget the rush and stress of everyday life, surrendering instead to the fresh air and birdsong.

Weddings

For dinner and evening celebrations, our rustic Kemencés Csárda is a perfect choice. With its charming brick design and traditional oven row, it comfortably hosts up to 250 guests. The terrace at the front, decorated with string lights, provides a relaxing retreat protected from strong sunshine or rain. Upon request, the rustic atmosphere can easily be transformed into elegant sophistication with white table settings and optional gold-framed or transparent “ghost” chairs.
For couples seeking a more garden-party atmosphere closer to nature, our Pajta Kocsma is an ideal choice, accommodating up to 150 guests.
Your vows can be exchanged at one of our three intimate ceremony locations: the Ivy Pavilion, the Ornamental Lake, or the peaceful forest.
There is no need to worry about transportation after a night of celebration, as our venue offers its own on-site accommodation.
The park’s special animals and horses warmly welcome guests the following day, and adventurous couples can even take unique, almost extreme creative wedding photos with them in our stunning natural surroundings.
Team-Building Events & Corporate Family Days
Professional training or cheerful team bonding? Or both? Bodor Major is a perfect choice for smaller groups of 10–15 participants as well as for corporate events with several hundred attendees. Thanks to our convenient location, travel time does not reduce valuable shared time.

Our 50-hectare park offers a wide range of active leisure opportunities. The famous “Puszta Olympics” competition is especially popular. With our experience partners, we can transform parts of the forest into laser tag arenas or ninja obstacle courses. Themed team-building events have included Cowboys vs. Indians and other imaginative challenges.
Evening parties are among the most popular corporate bonding activities—and distance is never an issue, thanks to our on-site accommodation.
Camps
We regularly host sports camps, training camps, summer camps, school trips, and kindergarten excursions—whether one-day visits, day camps, or overnight stays.
Children receive special menus and age-appropriate programs. We provide both indoor and outdoor spaces, along with accommodation.
Camp participants can learn about our resident animal species through guided presentations and even interact with many of them. For playful competition, we recommend the “Puszta Olympics” stations. Those interested in discovering the wonderful world of horses are warmly welcomed by our riding instructors.

Depending on guest numbers, your event can be centered in either the Brick-Oven Csárda or the Pajta Kocsma. For more active entertainment, teams can compete in our cheerful “Puszta Olympics.” Animal lovers may enjoy horseback riding or guided tours in our petting zoo.
Both children and adults adore the petting zoo, where guests often spend hours enjoying the experience.
Event Venues
Kemencés Csárda
One of the most unique venues at Bodor Major, where tradition meets modern comfort in perfect harmony. With a capacity of 200–300 guests, it is ideal for large weddings, corporate events, and family celebrations.
The interior is defined by its impressive brick oven row, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The open layout and bar area ensure comfort for all guests, while warm lighting and tasteful decoration create a truly festive ambiance.
Pajta Kocsma
Though only a few years old, Pajta Kocsma has already become one of our guests’ favorite venues. Located in a lush green environment with a light, terrace-style atmosphere, it accommodates up to 150 guests.
Its specialties include six cauldron cooking stations, outdoor kitchen setup possibilities, and proximity to activity areas. It is typically used for private events and is perfect for family days. The surrounding park provides ample space for stages, additional tents, or even inflatable castles.
If you’re looking for a relaxed, true garden-party atmosphere, this is the perfect choice.
Conference Hall
For more formal programs or indoor activities, our conference hall is an excellent option. Located near the Guesthouse, approximately 150 meters from the Csárda, the climate-controlled Lipizzaner Event Hall (opened in May 2014) is suitable year-round for conferences, workshops, award ceremonies, and meetings.
The venue consists of three rooms: room 1 & 2: 44 m² each, room 3: 52 m²
Each room has a separate entrance and natural light. By opening the soundproof partition walls, the space can be transformed into a 140 m² column-free hall, accommodating up to 100–110 guests in theatre-style arrangement.
Ceremony Locations
Ornamental Lake
One of the most popular ceremony locations, offering a romantic setting. Couples say their vows on a pier stretching across the lake beneath a white canopy, surrounded by colorful water lilies. The sunlight shimmering on the water creates a magical and intimate atmosphere.
Ivy Pavilion
A stylish hexagonal pavilion covered in lush green ivy, offering a romantic, nature-inspired atmosphere. Its natural shade and greenery create intimacy and countryside charm—perfect for couples seeking a special yet natural setting.
Sunset Meadow
One of the most romantic ceremony locations, where freedom and nature meet. Located behind the Csárda, this spacious meadow allows complete creative freedom in decoration and layout. The warm golden-red light of the setting sun provides a truly unforgettable backdrop for your vows.
